Email addresses and domain names in the Safe Senders List are never treated as junk email, regardless of the content of the message. You can add your Contacts and other correspondents to the Safe Senders list to confirm you'll always receive their messages in your inbox. Use the steps below to add an address to Safe Senders.
Outlook Desktop:
- Open Outlook: Launch your Outlook desktop application.
- Navigate to Junk Email Options:
- Click the "Home" tab on the ribbon.
- Click the "Junk" icon, then select "Junk E-mail Options".
- Access Safe Senders:
- Click the "Safe Senders" tab.
- Add a Sender:
- Click the "Add" button.
- Type the email address or domain you want to add.
- Click "OK".
- Save: Click "OK" to save your changes.
Outlook Web App (Outlook on the web):
- Sign in to Outlook Web App:
- Go to Settings: At the top of the page, select "Settings" > "Mail".
- Select Block or Allow: Under Options, select "Block or allow".
- Add to Safe Senders:
- In the "Enter a sender or domain here" text box, enter the email address or domain you want to mark as safe.
- Press Enter or select the "Add" icon.
- Save: Select "Save" to save your changes.
