Concur 2FA Enrollment Process

Two-factor authentication (2FA) (also known as Multifactor Authentication) is a layered approach to securing your accounts and the data they contain. When 2FA is enabled, after entering the correct password, you are prompted to provide the second factor of authentication, which could be a one-time code generated by a mobile authenticator app. This second step verifies your identity before the service grants access.

Enrollment Process

To enroll in 2FA by scanning a QR code

On the Concur mobile or web sign in page, enter your SAP Concur username and password.
The following message is presented:
“You must set up two-factor authentication to continue sign-in. Use your authenticator app (such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator) to scan the QR code below.”
- If you are using a mobile device to setup 2FA and have already downloaded an authenticator app, launch the authenticator app.
- If you do not yet have an authenticator app, download one and then proceed to setup 2FA.
- If you do not have a mobile device or prefer not to use one for this process, you can use an authenticator app in a web browser.
To use the Microsoft Authenticator App:
Launch the app on your mobile device
Select the + symbol to add an account
Select Other account
Scan the QR code presented on your computer
From your mobile device, open the Microsoft Authenticator app, select the + in the upper right, and then select Other account (Google, Facebook, etc.).

When prompted, use your device's camera to scan the QR code shown on your computer screen.
Note: If your camera isn't working properly, you can enter the key displayed below the QR code
Once the scan completes, you must enter the six-digit code provided in Microsoft Authenticator.
Access the code in Authenticator by locating the line titled SAP Concur. If the code is not shown, tap the > symbol to access the code.
On the SAP Concur Sign In page, enter the 6-digit code into the Authentication Code field in the Set Up Two-Factor Authentication section and then click Sign In.
